COVID-19 Health Protection Protocols

Waiheke Dental Centre – July 2022

Health service providers have a responsibility to protect the health and safety of their staff and patients, many of whom might be at a greater risk from a COVID-19 infection.

To do this we currently require:

  • All patients and visitors to Waiheke Dental Centre to answer our COVID-19 Questionnaire.
  • The mandatory wearing of a face mask in our shared public spaces.
  • The provision of hand sanitizer and encouraging it’s use.

If wearing a face mask is unsuitable for you due to a disability or health condition, please do not be offended if we ask to see your exemption and we may need to make some special arrangements around your visit to Waiheke Dental Centre.

This may include being asked to wait in a separate area or rescheduling your appointment to a time when we can minimise the numbers of staff and other patients around.  To do this we need to consider Waiheke Dental Centre staff and patients as well as the staff and patients of three other health service businesses that use the Waiheke Dental Centre premises.

Thank you for your understanding.
